Toyota reaches out to customers with smartphone app
With the launch of ‘Toyota Connect’the company aims at ensuring a seamless, convenient and pleasing ownership experience for Toyota customers.
Toyota Kirloskar Motor today launched the ‘Toyota Connect India’ (TCI) app, a smartphone-based connected services app that aims to cater to customer mobility and ownership needs in a personalised manner. The app, available on Android and IOS platforms, is fully integrated and offers cloud-based connected services in sync with a dedicated and specialised call centre, dealer networks and service providers.
The Toyota Connect app enables facilitates an immersive navigation experience with 3D offline maps, lane guidance, speed limit display, enlarged junction and intersection views and real-time traffic updates which will guide users to congestion-free routes. It also features service reminders, online service appointments, live service status and convenient e-payment facility.
Speaking at the launch of the app, Akitoshi Takemura, senior vice-president, Toyota Kirloskar Motor, said, “Customers will appreciate the purposeful services like assisted navigation, online service appointment with ePayment and GPS location-based roadside assistance designed to satiate the discerning Indian customer’s distinctive needs.”
