Mahindra First Choice Services aims to expand its current network of 327 franchisee to 1,200 and thus being amongst the top 3 service providers for out of warranty vehicles.

Mahindra First Choice Services crosses 1m service milestone

Mahindra First Choice Services (MFC Services), part of the $19 billion Mahindra Group today crossed the ‘1 million car services’ milestone.

To celebrate the milestone the company has started a month long ‘You’re one in a million Car Camp’ that will run across its franchisees starting December 11, 2017 till January 12, 2018. Under the campaign car owners will get a free 360 degree car check-up, along with other discounted services at its workshops. The customers will also get a opportunity to win exciting prizes including an international trip and free service packages during this period.

As per a Frost & Sullivan report cited by the company, the total estimated car parc in India is around 31.3 million cars and is expected to grow to 44.7 million cars by 2020 with 36 percent of these vehicles aged between four to eight years yrs. The car maintenance needs of customers in India, are currently addressed by dealer workshops of OEM’s (Original Equipment Manufacturers), which constitute approximately 32 percent of the market, Independent garages (IGs) with 64 percent market share and the rest is with organised Multi-brand outlets (MBOs). The organised MBO market share is expected to double by 2020.

Customers can save up to 20 percent on car servicing costs at our workshops as compared to authorized service centers of several car brands. The 1 million car services milestone is an affirmation that our efforts are appreciated and valued by our customers.

MFC states that it is equipped to offer complete car maintenance and service solutions, from body repairs to wheel alignment and balancing to periodic maintenance services and value added products. The franchisee workshops have skilled technicians to handle service needs of all cars especially those of Maruti, Hyundai, Tata and Mahindra which constitute approximately 79 percent of the car services market.

It currently has a presence across 22 states with its 328 franchisee workshops, and its vision is to be amongst the top 3 service providers for out of warranty cars by 2018. The company also recently launched Carworkz a car servicing workshop aggregator. And Its aim is to grow its network strength to 1,200 workshops across the country.
