Exicom installs EV charger at United Nation's office in Delhi

The AC charger supports BEVC-AC001 specifications. It is designed with 3 sockets to charge up to 15A per socket (or 3.3KW).

Exicom installed the first electric vehicle charging station at United Nation's office in Lodhi Estate, Delhi. As part of its plans to develop EV charging points across the country.

The unveiling ceremony was led by minister for environment, forest and climate change, Dr Harsh Vardhan; minister of culture, Dr Mahesh Sharma; the UN executive director, Erik Solheim; secretary, MoEF&CC, C.K Mishra, and other dignitaries.

Dr Harsh Vardhan proclaimed that our ancestors have taught us to live in harmony with nature. He emphasised that for India, environmental issues are not merely technical issues, but real moral issues and a movement for the future generations. 

Addressing the gathering, Erik Solheim, the current executive director of the United Nations Environment Programme, noted the manner in which the Prime Minister, Narendra Modi and Dr Harsh Vardhan have altered the nature of dialogue on the environment in the country.

Speaking on the occasion, Secretary, MoEF&CC, C.K Mishra underlined that the effort is to hand over a much better world to the future generations.

The AC charger supports BEVC-AC001 specifications. It is designed with 3 sockets to charge up to 15A per socket (or 3.3KW). The company claims it is suitable for installation at a wide range of places, including parking, service stations, commercial and residential areas through pedestal mount/wall mount or pole mount.
