Tata Motors' sales & marketing VP SN Barman calls it a day

The last few weeks has seen the Indian automotive industry witness a few senior management personnel movement. Joining the list today is Tata Motors' SN Barman, who held the position of vice-president, Sales, Marketing & Service-Passenger vehicles.

Barman who was reporting to Mayank Pareek, had moved to Tata Motors from Maruti Suzuki in 2015, where had worked for over 23 years. Tata Motors says it has tweaked the sales organisational structure for its PV business at least temporarily.

A Tata Motors spokesperson said: "It is true that SN Barman has decided to pursue career opportunities outside Tata Motors, we wish him the best in his future endeavours. As an interim structure, it has been decided that a Head Sales - North & East and a Head Sales - South & West will be reporting to Mayank Pareek, President, PVBU."
