Tata Motors Group’s global sales up 4% in December 2016
The Group’s cumulative wholesales for the fiscal stood at 822,807 units, up 9% over FY15-16.
The Tata Motors Group, which includes Jaguar Land Rover, posted global wholesales of 95,081 units in December 2016, up 4% increase year-on-year (YoY).

The global wholesales of all Tata Motors’ commercial vehicles and Tata Daewoo range in December 2016 were 30,879 units, down 5% compared to December 2015. The cumulative commercial vehicles wholesales for the fiscal were 284,681 units, up 4% YoY.
The global wholesales of all passenger vehicles last month stood at 64,202 units, higher by 8% compared to December 2015. The cumulative passenger vehicle wholesales for the fiscal were 538,126 vehicles, up 6% over FY15-16.
Meanwhile, global wholesales for Jaguar Land Rover stood at 53,063 vehicles (includes CJLR wholesales of 8,184 vehicles). Jaguar wholesales for the month were 15,879 vehicles and cumulative wholesales were 126,661 vehicles; while Land Rover wholesales for the month were 37,184 vehicles and its cumulative wholesales stood at 295,633 units. Cumulative wholesales for Jaguar Land Rover for the fiscal were 422,294 vehicles.
