TVS adds more colour to its Jupiter

TVS Motor Company has announced the introduction of two new colours – Matte Beige and Sparkling Silver – in its Jupiter range of scooters. 

Commenting on the development, K N Radhakrishnan, president and CEO, TVS Motor Company, said, “This is yet another example of our deeper customer understanding and our commitment to deliver what customers want. Today, we have the widest and most comprehensive range of scooters straddling all segments of the scooter market with the Jupiter targeting the male single user segment, the Wego targeting the dual user segment and the Scooty Zest, Pep+ and Streak making up for the women single user segment.”

TVS has been on a roll on the sales front for the past year or so and in this fiscal year so far (April-August, has sold a total of 854,845 two-wheelers comprising both motorcycles and scooters, posting a 26.88 percent growth year on year. In terms of market share, the company current has a 12.95 percent share as against 11.71 percent last year for the first five months of the fiscal. The popular Jupiter scooter has been a prime contributor to these sales.
