Savita Oil Technologies becomes engine oil supplier to Tata Motors
The lube manufacturer will produce and supply original oils for Tata’s passenger vehicles.
Savita Oil Technologies, a leading manufacturer of auto, industrial and consumer lubricants, has signed an agreement with Tata Motors to manufacture and supply original oils for the automaker’s passenger vehicles as ‘Tata Motors Original Oils’.
Commenting on this announcement, S N Barman, vice-president, Sales, Marketing & Customer Support, Passenger Vehicles Business Unit, Tata Motors, said, “We want to ensure world-class service, spares and consumables for all the aftersales needs of our customers. With this aim in mind, we launch ‘Tata Motors Original Oils’. With this introduction, we will ensure easy availability of recommended engine oils for our car buyers, for the long-term health and maintenance of their vehicles. Furthermore, with the association with Savita Oil Technologies, we guarantee that our customers will receive the finest quality of product which will help them extract the best performance out of their engines.”

This partnership will also help Tata Motors deliver original products at the right price and will ensure easy availability through the aftermarket.
With a sales volume in excess of 300,000 KL, Savita Oil Technologies is one of the largest manufacturers of petroleum speciality oils and lubricants in India. It has three manufacturing facilities in Western India. Its lube oil manufacturing plant, which will supply these original oils is situated at Silvassa and is a fully automated state-of-the-art manufacturing unit.
