German sportscar maker Porsche has today inaugurated a new 612 square metre showroom at an event attended by customers, brand enthusiasts and representatives. Located in Kochi, the Centre is the second Porsche dealership in the south, and sixth in India – forming a key part of the brand’s long-term growth strategy in the country.

Featuring a six-car display space, Porsche Centre Kochi is the first facility in the subcontinent to feature a digitalised showroom concept. Incorporated into the building’s design, the new infrastructure includes a range of features geared towards facilitating a special purchase experience. This includes large screens that display car configurations generated onsite providing immediate visualisations that help customers make an informed decision.

Digital signage interfaces located around the facility combine content originating from the brand’s headquarters in Stuttgart with locally controlled feeds. Visitors are presented with information on the brand, its models, technology, heritage and motorsport activities in video, social media posts and text format.
