Maruti Suzuki rolls out refreshed Ritz Diesel
New Delhi, September 3, 2012: Maruti Suzuki has introduced a refreshed Ritz Diesel priced at Rs 5.31 lakh onwards (ex-showroom Delhi). The company says the car comes with 52 changes including a new front design, new dual-tone interiors, new ZDi variant (Rs 6.23 lakh), multi-information display on instrument panel, new audio system with USB, electrically adjustable rear view mirrors and body side moulding.

The car is powered by the popular 1248cc DDiS engine. Maruti claims there is a 10 percent improvement in fuel efficiency from 21.1kpl to 23.2kpl for the Ritz Diesel, due to engineering improvements like the use of a reduced friction engine and calibration optimisation.

Commenting on the launch of the car, Manohar Bhat, vice- president (marketing) Maruti Suzuki India, said: “The numerous changes being introduced now will make the Ritz brand more vibrant. Most important, the new Ritz is more fuel-efficient with enhanced driving comfort.
