JK Tyre has appointed Rajiv Prasad as its president for India operations. Prasad has 30 years' experience in managing and heading large businesses. The company says he is a veteran in leading and mentoring diverse teams across geographies.
Dr Raghupati Singhania, chairman and MD, JK Tyre said, “I am sure that Prasad will provide adept leadership and lead JK Tyre on a new growth trajectory.”
JK Tyre has a global presence in 100 countries across six continents, backed by production support from 12 plants: 9 in India and 3 in Mexico. The company currently has a production capacity of about 35 million tyres per annum. The company says it is currently the market leader in the truck bus radial segment.
