In order to meet demand for the car, Ford India is also expanding its engine facility at the Maraimalai Nagar plant near Chennai and working with diesel engine component suppliers.
Ford India has exported the Figo to South Africa, Nepal, Mexico, Kenya and Bahrain and will add many new destinations going forward.
