The Mumbai-based Delux Bearings, which is participating in the ACMA-Automechanika New Delhi 2015 aftermarket trade fair (Pragati Maidan, February 26-March 1), is to showcase clutch release bearings for cars, trucks and tractors in solid and sheet metal, kingpin assemblies for European and American trucks, tensioners for the European market, and taper roller bearings.

The company is using the ACMA Automechanika New Delhi 2015 platform to showcase its new range of products suited for European and American markets and to study the latest trends in parts and services for the export market. It is also looking for collaboration for powertrain parts and assemblies aligned to its core products.

According to Kirti Rathod, chairman and managing director, Delux Bearings, “We are setting up a new plant in Gujarat, which will be operational by the third quarter of this year. Capacity will increase by 30 percent to include a new range of ball and roller bearings for powertrain and wheel applications. We will install new manufacturing, testing equipment for achieving capacity expansion.”

Commenting on the growth path ahead, he added, “As the automotive industry and component manufacturers look forward to brighter days in 2015-18, we need the support of Tier 2, 3 and 4 members to join quality clusters, to improve their productivity and quality. There are several role models of companies that have joined the ACMA ACT Quality Clusters and have benefitted with least amount of resource utilisation. Tier 2 and 3 companies should visit these model companies, who are award winners on regional and national level, to learn from the benefits on joining ACMA ACT Clusters. These clusters have tangible and intangible benefits and include improvement of employee morale, team building and reduction in waste elimination.”

Delux Bearings’ display is at Hall No. 12A / Stall No. O20.
