ACMA Automechanika New Delhi 2015 to see over 400 exhibitors

ACMA Automechanika New Delhi 2015 to see over 400 exhibitors

Keen to increase their presence and gain a market share of the rapidly expanding Indian aftermarket sector, over 400 companies from Brazil, China, Germany, India, Indonesia, Italy, Korea, Malaysia, Spain, Taiwan, Thailand and the UK will showcase their latest auto parts and accessories at ACMA Automechanika New Delhi 2015 this February.

With a 60 percent increase in the number of exhibitors, the fair has been completely booked two months before it is scheduled to take place from February 26-March 1 at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi. The occupied space marks a 90 percent increase compared to the inaugural edition of the show in 2013. International participation has also soared by 34 percent.

The Automotive Component Manufacturers Association of India (ACMA) and Messe Frankfurt Trade Fairs India say they are focused on setting up a professional, world-class platform to provide domestic aftermarket players access to core component technologies including engine parts, drive transmission and steering parts, body and chassis, tyres and batteries, suspension and braking parts, equipment and electrical parts, accessories & tuning besides others and facilitate closer collaboration between global auto component and Indian aftermarket sector players.

Key exhibitors representing these segments this year include ANG Industries, ZF India, Luk India and Shriram Pistons who will showcase powertrain, chassis and standard parts while Delphi Automotive Systems will showcase its range of fuel modules – MRA and pumps, ignition wire sets, thermal compressors, heat exchangers, brakes and half-shafts.

Mansons International plans to bring anti-vibration, axle and suspension components, body parts, steering components, repair kits and fifth wheel components and repair kits while Setco Automotive will showcase clutches for M&HCVs. TVS Rubber will display rubber parts, suspension and mounting products.

Bosch, one of the largest suppliers of automotive parts and systems to the automotive industry, is the platinum partner for the 2015 edition of the show. Guenter Weber, regional president – Automotive Aftermarket, Bosch Ltd, India, says: “The Automechanika in Germany attracts all leading OEMs and component manufacturers from across the globe and has attracted millions of customers year after year. In addition to sourcing and networking opportunities, this year’s show will have a concurrent seminar on February 27. It will bring together industry experts from India and abroad to share insights and international best practices in the areas of R&D and innovation, advancements in mechatronic systems, sustainable mobility, fuel efficiency and emerging export markets. The one-day conference will also shed light on road safety and the changing mindset of the Indian auto components industry from ‘Build-to-print’ to ‘Build-to-intent’.
