ContiTech honours 5 suppliers of the year 2014

ContiTech Vibration Control, the specialist for vibration control, sealing technology, and noise insulation, has announced its suppliers of the year for 2014 at the ongoing Hannover Messe in Germany.

Heinz-Gerhard Wente, an executive Board member of Continental AG and head of the ContiTech division, presented the certificates to the five award-winning companies: SAPA Profily a.s., Brugger Magnetsysteme GmbH, mbw Metallveredelung, MI Plastik PLUS a.s., and Shanghai HEBA Die-Casting Co., Ltd. "Our suppliers make a significant contribution to our success. This is especially true for these five companies," said Wente during the awards ceremony. "ContiTech can only deliver advanced technologies if our suppliers are right out in front in terms of quality and the power to innovate."

These companies are part of a total of 180 suppliers to ContiTech Vibration Control. "The service they have demonstrated in supplying our plants around the world was very impressive in terms of quality, delivery, and development performance," says Christoph Dudek, director of Purchasing & Logistics, at the awards ceremony at the Hannover Messe.

Supplier of the Year 2014: SAPA Profily a.s.
SAPA Profily a.s. is the largest producer of aluminum profiles worldwide. The company is a subsidiary of the SAPA Group, which has production sites in over 40 countries and is headquartered in Oslo, Norway. SAPA Profily a.s. supplies ContiTech plants in Slovakia, Mexico, and Germany with a total of 13 different aluminum profiles.

Supplier of the Year 2014: Brugger Magnetsysteme GmbH
Brugger Magnetsysteme GmbH is one of the leading manufacturers of permanently magnetic assemblies and supplies the ContiTech plant in Hanover. The business complements and finishes metal-to-rubber elements from ContiTech Vibration Control with magnetic systems. The company was again selected as supplier of the year.

Supplier of the Year 2014: mbw GmbH Metallveredelung
mbw GmbH Metallveredelung specializes in galvanic and chemical surface treatment. The company works in a total of seven locations in Germany, including its headquarters in Lichtenau, Baden-Württemberg. mbw GmbH coats surfaces of metal components for the ContiTech plant in Hanover.

Supplier of the Year 2014: MI Plastik PLUS a.s.
The Slovakian company MI Plastik PLUS a.s. specializes in injection-molded plastic parts. The company supplies the ContiTech plants in Slovakia and Mexico from its headquarters in Michalovce, eastern Slovakia.

Supplier of the Year 2014: Shanghai HEBA Die-Casting Co., Ltd.
Die casting specialist Shanghai HEBA Die-casting Co., Ltd. supplies the ContiTech plants in China, Mexico, and Slovakia with aluminum injection-moulded parts from China.
