Symposium on International Automotive Technology (SIAT) |
|
Symposium on International Automotive Technology (SIAT) is a widely covered biennial international event organized by ARAI, Pune India.
SIAT serves as an important forum for sharing ideas and knowledge concerning promising areas of Automotive Engineering and Technology, wherein eminent experts and authors present Keynotes and Technical Papers in multiple sessions.
The coming edition of SIAT, i.e. SIAT 2013,13th in the series, is being organized by ARAI in association with SAEINDIA, NATRiP and SAE International at its campus in Pune, (India) from 9 -11 January 2013.
The theme of SIAT 2013, viz. is in continuation with our previous theme “Sustainable Mobility –ACreative Challenge”. Keynotes and Technical Papers in various areas such as Vehicle & Structural Dynamics, Automobile Air-Conditioning & HVAC, Alternate Fuels, Automotive Electronics, CAE, CFD Methodology, Hybrid & Electric Vehicles, Emissions, Power Train, Materials & Manufacturing, NVH, Safety, Global Regulations, Transmission etc. will be presented during the symposium. Symposium proceedings, covering about 190 Technical Papers, including 40 Keynotes, will be published besides Technical Reference Bulletin containing technical articles, case studies and product information.
An exposition, SIAT EXPO 2013, is being organized concurrently atARAI from 9-12 January 2013, where a spectrum of worldwide companies will showcase Automotive Products, Equipment, Services and Technology solutions in 201 stalls. ‘Technology Theatre’ is being organized as a special event on 12th January 2013. This event provides a platform for exhibitors to interact, share ideas, present innovative strengths and explore business opportunities through technical discussions and presentations.

India Auto Expo opens in Chennai on May 23 |
|
May 9, 2013: The annual India Auto Expo is to be held next week, from May 23-26, at Hall 3 at Chennai Trade Centre, Nandambakkam, Chennai. The four-day exhibition will showcase a good number of vehicles, across all categories, along with a large variety of automotive-related equipment and services.
Organised by Vijay Shanthi Exhibitions, the event will see a host of companies and dealers showcase two-, three- and four-wheelers including commercial vehicles.
